University of Oklahoma – Economic Development Institute Scholarship

OU Economic Development Institute (EDI) is the premier economic development program in the nation, with more than 50 years of experience providing professional economic developers with up-to-date knowledge and tools necessary to succeed in today’s constantly-changing environment. Over three (3) EDI sessions, participants fulfill the classroom education prerequisites to take Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) exam from IEDC.

  • Applicants must have completed a Basic Economic Development Course.
  • Applicants must be residents of and work in Oklahoma.
  • Applicants must be members in good standing of OEDC and engaged in full-time Economic Development work.
  • Applicants must be committed to professional development (as detailed in the application)
  • Applicants must demonstrate financial need (as detailed in the application)
  • Recipients must be willing to complete required course work.
  • Recipients will be responsible for all expenses not covered by the scholarship.
